GDPR Compliance & Sovereignty
1. Two distinct data layers
It is important to distinguish between two very different data processes:
- This website's data (contact/demo form): processed by MG Informatique — see our privacy policy.
- The MG-VMS platform's video data deployed at our clients' premises: it never passes through MG Informatique or any third-party server.
2. Sovereignty of the MG-VMS platform
MG-VMS is designed for 100% on-premise or hybrid deployment. In practice:
- Video feeds remain on the client's infrastructure, from sensor to storage.
- AI processing (detection, ANPR/LPR) runs locally on the client's own hardware, with no data sent to a third-party cloud.
- No footage or operational data is transmitted to MG Informatique as part of the platform's normal operation.
This architecture meets digital sovereignty requirements and facilitates GDPR compliance for our clients' video protection systems.
3. Data controller for this site
MG Informatique — Marwan Richard, 16 bis rue Fanny Duvivier, 60870 Rieux, France. Contact: contact@mg-informatique.com.
4. Your rights
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to access, rectify, object to, erase and port the data you send us through this site. To exercise these rights, contact us at contact@mg-informatique.com.
5. GDPR support for your deployment
For your own obligations as an operator of a video protection system (record of processing activities, informing filmed individuals, recording retention periods, filing where required), our teams support you during the feasibility study and sizing of your installation. Contact us to discuss it.
